Mark Cross SS19 Campaign
Mark Cross Creative Director, David Lipman, enlisted Melena Lipman and Yulu Serao to create the brand’s second ad campaign. Focusing on themes such as youth culture and the contradictions that define millennial style, the campaign was photographed on film and featured models Zuri Marley and Manon Macasaet.
The close friends took to the streets of the East Village and Chinatown without hair or make-up artists to keep things low-key and real. Not wanting to over-style or have heavy art direction, the ladies put together looks with a mix of modern sportswear and vintage streetwear with pieces from fashion designer Sandy Liang and Procell—always with a Mark Cross bag. This campaign is truly for young women, by young women.
